その他：那賀町移住交流推進活動事業の一環で開催します。
ヨンロッパ にはピアノがあります。今回のイベントでは、しばらく使われていなかったお遊戯室のピアノを調律して、スペシャルピアノコンサートを開催します。
みなさんが一度は聴いたことがあるクラシック曲や、坂本九さんの名曲「上を向いて歩こう」、そしてヨンロッパ のアイコン・カナーとナナを想って本人が作曲したコンテスト優勝作品「あひるの夢」などを、１３歳のピアニストが演奏します。ナナも新しい友達のピナと一緒に演奏を聴きに行きます。
コンサートの後は、手作りシフォンケーキを食べながら日曜の午後をゆっくりお過ごしください。

ピアニスト紹介
アレクサンダー 大志 ウィッテン（Alexander Taishi Whitten)
2010年 – アメリカ人の父と日本人の母の間に沖縄県で誕生。外交官の父の仕事で、これまで日本、アメリカ、モザンビーク、ブラジル、カタールに住む。
2018年 – (8歳) ブラジルで日本人の先生のもと始めたピアノレッスンに夢中になる。
2020年 – (10歳) 自分で曲を作るようになる。
2022年 – (12歳) 初応募した作曲コンテストのジュニア部門で優勝。
2023年 – 移住したアメリカ・フロリダ州でも様々なコンテストで受賞。
2024年 – 2月、協奏曲コンテスト ジュニア部門で優勝。ノースウェストフロリダシン フォニーオーケストラとピアノソリストとして共演。
学校や教会でもピアノ奏楽者として活動中。尊敬するピアニストは、角野隼斗さん。趣味はコンサート鑑賞、作曲・アレンジ、Switchゲーム。スーパーマリオのキャラクター、ヨッシーが大好き。『話をするのはあまり得意ではないけれど、音楽を通して人々と神様に喜んでもらう事がぼくの喜びです』

The 13-year-old pianist will perform classical pieces (Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, etc.) that everyone has heard at least once, as well as Kyu Sakamoto’s famous song “Sukiyaki song” and the contest-winning ” Reverie de Canards – Dreaming of Ducks,” which was composed by Yonroppa’s icon Canard and Nana in mind. Nana will also be there with her new friend Pina to listen to the performance.
After the concert, enjoy a relaxing Sunday afternoon over homemade chiffon cake. Capacity is limited to 20 people, so reservations are recommended!
Alexander Taishi Whitten’s Bio
2010 – Born in Okinawa, to an American father and Japanese mother. Due to his father’s work as a diplomat, he has lived in Japan, USA, Mozambique, Brazil, and Qatar.
2018 – (Age 8) Started piano lessons with a Japanese teacher in Brazil and fell in love with it.
2020 – (Age 10) Started writing his own songs.
2022 – (Age 12) Won the junior category of the first composition contest he entered.
2023 – Won various contests in Florida, USA, where he relocated.
2024 – February – Won the Junior Division of the Concerto Contest. Performed as piano soloist with the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra.
He currently studies piano with Mr. Daniel Nagy in Pensacola Florida.
Also active as a piano player in schools and churches. His favorite pianist is Hayato Sumino. His hobbies include listening to concerts, composing and arranging music, and playing Switch games. He loves the Super Mario character Yossy. He says, “I am not very good at talking, but it is my joy to give praise to God and make people happy through my music.”
